Sex, Lies, and Kompromat: Inside the Zeka–Sahitaj Nexus in Marbella

In the Balkan peninsula, where politics and shadows so often waltz in tandem, a quiet but explosive drama has been unfolding. What initially appeared to be a grotesque Facebook rant from a Kosovar public figure, Milaim Zeka1, might in fact serve as a portal into something far more intricate: a clandestine web of influence, manipulation, and personal compromise.

On 3rd July 2025, Milaim Zeka published a post on Facebook criticising the LGBTQI+ community in what he called a defence of liberal values. The irony was glaring. His disdain was masked in tired platitudes: a self-proclaimed liberal who is allegedly friends with homosexuals, bisexuals, lesbians, and even individuals with cocaine habits. Yet his central argument was less about diversity and more about his distaste for what he described as the LGBTQI+ community's "promotion" of their identity. It was the kind of rhetoric tailored not to enlighten, but to inflame. The true motive, as evidence now suggests, may run deeper.

Behind this performance lies a reality Zeka vehemently denies in public but which emerges in covert transcripts and shadowed dealings: his personal entanglement with Halit Sahitaj, a man believed to have worked as an operative for the Russian FSB2. A long-form investigative interview with Sahitaj, which we have obtained and transcribed, reveals not only personal grievances and romantic frustrations but a calculated and persistent effort to manufacture a kompromat—fabricated incriminating evidence, targeted at investigative journalist and our chief-editor Vudi Xhymshiti.
