In the ever-evolving landscape of global diplomacy and media accountability, a recent report from the Western Balkans Anti-Disinformation Hub (April-June 2024)1 stands as a glaring example of scandalous misrepresentation. My investigative work2 on Deputy Assistant Secretary Gabriel Escobar’s potential conflicts of interest has been mischaracterised in this document as baseless “accusations,” a distortion that not only undermines the integrity of my evidence-based reporting but also raises serious questions about the impartiality and credibility of the report itself.
