Dear reader, today, I find myself deeply moved after spending time with someone who has lived a life that began long before mine, a person who grew up in a world untouched by the grip of technology, a world where childhood was shaped by the natural rhythms of life rather than the flicker of a screen. This person embraced technology only when necessary, as a tool to be wielded rather than a force to surrender to. They did not let themselves become a servant to it, and in this, I find a lesson, a warning, and an awakening.
I do not claim to have been entirely consumed by technology myself, but I have felt its pull, its quiet seduction, its ability to creep into the mind and colonise attention.
