Israel's response to South Africa's arguments in the International Court of Justice hearing is nothing short of a disgrace. Their attempt to label South Africa's lawyers as "Hamas representatives" and accuse them of distorting the reality in Gaza is a feeble and desperate ploy to deflect attention from their own atrocities.
The spokesperson for Israel's Foreign Ministry has the audacity to call the trial accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza a "show of hypocrisy" and dismiss the claims as "false and baseless." This level of denial and disregard for the suffering of the Palestinian people is appalling.
Israel conveniently ignores the fact that Hamas terrorists infiltrating their territory is a direct result of their oppressive occupation and policies. The attempt to portray themselves as victims while conveniently omitting the countless Israeli atrocities committed against the Palestinian population is an insult to human decency.
